Presentific

2008年12/20　幕張メッセでテクノ界の大御所リッチー率いるマイナスレーベル10周年を祝って
イベントが開催された。バックステージパスが会場で手に入るとのことなので、ガイを誘ってルンルン遠出！

夜中12：30到着。来たのはいいけど、どの会場なのか分かんない。。。見ると長蛇の列。
「これね！」とガイと列に並んでる人を尻目に入り口へ。「パスがあるから並ばなくていいわぁ～よかったぁ～」ところが、スタッフに「チケット違います。こちらマンガ系のイベントですが。。。」「はっ！？」かなりびっくり。大体どうしてマンガ系のイベントがこんな夜中からあるの？それとも明日のために泊り込み？スーツケースとは持ってる人いたし。
いまだにナゾです。

その後やっとリッチー達のイベントへ。もうすでに1時すぎ。かなりの盛り上がり。
5000枚のチケットが事前に完売ってだけあって人がすごい。

バックステージパスは少々待たなきゃいけなかったんで、とりあえず一杯とバーエリアへ。

ドリンク買おうにも、トイレ行こうにも、人多すぎ！とすぐに断念。

何かすでに二人とも少々疲れぎみ。沈黙ぎみ。。。

が、そこで、パスを手に入れバックステージへ。ここではドリンクもトイレも待ちは一切なし。
二人ともいっきに疲れは吹っ飛び笑顔取り戻す。

フロアで踊ったり、スモーキングエリアでカワイイ男の子からタバコ恵んでもらったりしながら、楽しい夜を過ごしたのです。

もちろん、音楽、大きいスクリーンのヴィジュアルもかなり素晴らしかった！マジで。

帰りのタクシーの中でガイがビールをこぼし、運良く後部座席のところのティッシュボックスがあったので、かなり眠い私は片付けをガイにまかせ寝る。

起きると朝方の渋谷。

「おもっきり遊んだね～」「楽しかったね～」「アタシ達まだまだ若いわね～」とお別れして帰路につく。

  Saturday December 20 in Tokyo - venturing out to Makuhari Messe for HigherFrequency Special - Womb Adventure '08 & it was an adventure.. a few clinks of drinks in a shared cab with Yumi (an original Presentific person who is involved with all sorts of artistic & creative projects in Tokyo), out to Makuhari (a venture in itself..about 40 minutes drive from central Tokyo), then arriving at midnight to a packed hall of party people, queuing for the bar could have been painful, but it was very friendly with the friends I made in the queue..Richie Hawtin, Magda, Dexpistols, Hadouken & more did stellar sets of techno.. Yumi & I shared a typical Tokyo night of electronic music, happy faces, dancing bodies, polite queues (yes more) & a few spontaneous surprises - thankyou Yumi for VIP backstage.. OK what was the VIP experience like..? no queues (lovely), watched & listened to the DJ's from behind (yes they DO shake their bums when they DJ), a big kiss from Magda, & the massive hall behind the DJ stage was open - so at one point I was dancing completely alone in a space built for 10,000 people.. hmm it must be lonely at the top.. So I shared an all night Tokyo club experience with Yumi, she has the Presentific people card.. I wonder where it will go next..

  The original Presentific people card continues it's journey.. I first gave the card to Masao (Presentific Tokyo office manager), we shared a contemporary art experience at Hara Museum, Masao gave the card to Deanne (Tokyo's hooping star), they shared The Secret experience together, then Masao passed the card back to me & we shared a pre-Christmas festive moment on Omotesando - Tokyo's famous promenading avenue in the heart of Harajuku/Aoyama with pink candles (yay!! the Presentific colours are everywhere) lighting up the sparkling clear winter night air with the atmosphere of anticipation of the festive season also in the air. Tokyo in December really feels alive - with blue skies & sunshine, clear night skies (a few stars), crisp air, people buzzing about getting ready for the end of the year, couples, couples everywhere (& luckily lot's of cool kids - not just couples) having a lot of festive fun. Just walking down Omotesando at any time of day at this time of year is a festive experience in itself. So I have the card again.. who's next..?

  以前から見よう見ようと思っていた映画『The secret』ついにみました。少し前から騒がれていますが、その理由が分かりました。
映画というよりは、ドキュメンンタリー。登場人物の表情やしぐさなどは本当にインスパイアされます。
かなりおすすめの1本です。

  初めまして、プレゼンティフィックのMASAOです。昨日、プレゼンティフィックのオーナー、ガイさんから『プレゼンティフィック・カード』が届きました。
素敵なデザインで貰う人も嬉しくなるカードですね。
それから、ガイさんとJim Lambieのオープニングパーティーに出席してきました。昔は別荘だったこともあるこの建物はかなりゴージャスで凄い造りになっていました。
床は白と黒のデザインになっていて、現代の日本の和スタイルを思わせるデザインがとても刺激的でした。
品川にある原美術館はかなりおすすめです。

  昨日は、素敵なプレゼント『プレセンティフィック・カード』がガイさんから届きました。今手元にそのカードがあります。カードのデザインはとても可愛く、貰ったかたもきっと喜びますね。実際に届くと誰に送ろうか迷います。そして、昨日は、Jim LambieオープニングにパーティーにPresentificのオーナー、ガイさんと出席しました。会場はもともと別荘だったこともあり建物自体もゴージャスな造りでビックリ！！

On Friday December 12 2008 Guy (Presentific founder) gave the card to Masao (Presentific Japan office manager) & we shared an experience at a very cool contemporary art exhibition opening in Tokyo - the Jim Lambie Unknown Pleasures installation at the Hara Museum.

There were vinyl records embedded in cement boxes (Jim loves his music!!), black & white swirly striped floors throughout, doors going nowhere & Jim spinning some of his favourite rock tunes (he really loves his music!!). There were disco lights, there was red wine, it was fun, it was almost messy. You can go share in the art experience until March 29 2009.
Well I gave the card to Masao - I wonder who he'll give it to..
